One of them being the fact it is simply flawless: from the pose to the dialogue, everything in this reflects the true nature of the characters pictured inside. It’s also a fine example of the Yamamoto school of gaping mouths: from the shape to the fine white lines inside, everything is a perfect representation of that Yamamoto style known as QUALITY. The lighting is also impressive. Is it a strip-tease club, or simply an abstract representation of good versus evil? It really lets people interpret things the way they want, something I can only applaud. There’s also a deep reflection about the human body. How does that character feel about being a Frankenstein-like being, made of body parts from different people? Does he feel like one, or two people? Is it body horror? Is he discriminated against because of this? This seems like a rather powerful hidden message, and I hope the rest of the manga addresses it. Finally,I reblogged this because the character isn’t talking to the other people present in the scene, but directly to us. His stare, full of madness, is an open door on the reader’s own issues; by looking at us, he forces us to confront our own fears. He’s looking at us. And we’re looking into the abyss. made a blog to bitch at us. and when i responded to their ask (i was confused as to what the fuck was going on), they thoroughly (and, very rudely) accused me of taking icons from people i didnt even know. I checked whos icons i had used…

Uh, excuse you?

If I could take a minute, I’d like to review:

For livejournal rp, we made icons.

Some of these were crops, sure, but most of them had loads of effort put into them- if I recall correctly, a few of them are even drawn by a few of us. Personally, I put a load of effort into the ones I edited, adjusted, and colored.

Most of them have been marked asking for some sort of credit right next to the userpics or have been marked as DNS (do not steal) or do not take because we’d personally prefer to you know, not have everyone on the internet using something we put effort into.

A good portion of your Pokémon cast takes icons from the Pokédressing community. Kindly leave the “I don’t know what Pokédressing is!!!” at home, because you wouldn’t have the icons if you didn’t find them from somewhere.

A group of us carefully compiled a direct but still adequately polite message to you guys, listing a bunch of livejournal usernames that are the source of where these icons came from, asking you to take them down or at least credit them to the ones who put effort into them, which is standard courtesy for livejournal roleplay.

None of this is in any way bashing or bitching at any of you.

You then proceed to answer… With “How about you suck my dick,” and “You’re a faget,” before saying that we revived your muse and made you want to use our icons even more, because you didn’t give a single shit.

And then later on, when you’re called out on that response sounding like the rebuttal of a preteen, you say nothing until months later.

And months later, we get this persecuted victimized bullshit.

It’s honestly better that you stay away from livejournal roleplay, because your rather unique characterization aside, this kind of attitude would repel people from playing with you and you’d be the topic of the anonymous livejournal roleplaying community in a heartbeat.

I have absolutely no sympathy for you.
